Vince Witherup current President of the Plastic Pioneers Association is proud to welcome the following new members into the PPA. PPA membership is limited to 250 active members who must have 25 or more years of experience in the industry to be considered. In addition, an existing PPA member must sponsor the nominee who is judged on their contributions made to the advancement of the plastics industry.

Milford, Ohio – Dennis Richmond, Global Quote Systems Manager, Packaging for Nypro Inc. was recently awarded membership to the Plastic Pioneers Association (PPA) due to his extensive contributions to the plastics industry. Dennis has served the plastic industry well since 1977 and is proud to be a member of PPA. Dennis received a BS in Electrical Technology from the University of Cincinnati.

Outside of his career, Dennis and his wife Alice enjoy Golfing and Skiing and (probably at the urging of his wife) Dennis loves to work around the house as a handy man.

An avid golfer, Glenn graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in History and went on to receive his MBA from Xavier college. Along with wife Lisa Ann for support, Glenn was sponsored into the PPA by Vince Witherup and David Hahn.

Saline, Michigan – Al Hodge, President of R&B Plastics Machinery Has been inducted to the PPA rank and file. Hodge has been around the plastics industry since the early 80’s. He has served with Portage Industries, Legitt and Platt, Davis Standard and currently with R&B. Formed in the early 1940’s, the Plastic Pioneers Association was originally conceived as a way for plastics industry leaders to network with like-minded individuals. Through the years, the association has evolved into one of the premiere plastics industry organizations, committed to the further advancement and betterment of the industry. To that end, the association awards several scholarships each year to students interested in pursuing a career in the plastics industry.
